Over The Moon Jewelry - How I Got Into Jewelry Making

I’ve always been a crafty person, ever since I was a child, with a deep love for rocks and minerals (I’m an avid rock climber, and fun fact—my last name actually means ‘rock’ in French!). My early 20s were spent traveling across South America and Thailand, where I became completely captivated by local crafts, especially the ones that involved gemstones and wire-wrapping.

What started as a hobby—making my own jewelry—quickly turned into something more. I began selling at the local Farmers Market when I got my working visa, thinking it’d just be a side hustle while I found another job. But the support from the community was incredible, and things started picking up. Before I knew it, jewelry-making became my full-time job—and it's been that way ever since!
